VITAMIN C

VITAMIN C

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a hugely powerful antioxidant that plays a crucial role in overall health and wellness.  Vitamin C is known for its positive impact on viral illness, energy levels and pigmentary disorders of the skin. Regular intramuscular injections fight bacteria, inflammation and immune system deficiencies. Improvements in mental clarity, brain function and memory are often reported.  Vitamin C is particularly useful for those who have a lot of demands on them, which makes for a heavy burden on the mind and body.  While an instant ‘boost’ from high-dose vitamin C isn't normally reported, the vitamin plays a key role in  important work behind the scenes to refresh and revive the cells in your body so they function optimally, leading to better overall health.

Where do we get vitamin C from?

Vitamin C is considered an essential nutrient for the human body.  We get vitamin C from our diet as it cannot be synthesised internally. Vitamin C is found in many fruit and vegetables including citrus fruits, tomatoes, melons, peppers, potatoes, pineapples, brassicas and summer berries, plus many other sources.   However it is a water soluble vitamin meaning that an excess is excreted.  As such a continuous supply is needed to maintain good health.
