WHAT IS  SPORTS MASSAGE?

The management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues.  An important part of self-care, injury prevention and performance enhancement for not only athletes, but almost everyone.  Those who engage in regular sports, attend the gym, undertake a job that requires repetitive or sustained postures, work from home or are retired will all benefit.

WHO DOES IT?

Our sports massage therapists are trained at degree level and work with a variety of clients offering preventative treatments to aid recovery.  Resolve's sports therapists will ensure that you receive an individually tailored, high quality massage in our Sutton Coldfield clinic.

WHAT TO EXPECT

There's always a warm welcome when you arrive for a sports massage in our Sutton Coldfield clinic.  We will ask you to fill in a consent form identifying what you jul like to achieve with your sports massage so your therapist can target these concerns.  You will need to undress the area to be treated.  To leave better than when you came.

WHAT YOU NEED

To drink plenty of water & avoid eating heavily beforehand.  Suitable clothing - shorts, loose t-shirt, sports bra.

AFTER YOUR VISIT

You may feel a little sore and some clients feel tired.  Drink plenty of water and avoid heavy training for 12 hours.  Follow your therapists aftercare advice for the best outcomes.  We recommend regular massage as part of your own self care regime.
