WHAT IS  SPORTS MASSAGE?

Sports Massage is an important part of self-care, injury prevention and performance enhancement not only for athletes, but almost everyone. Those who engage in regular sports, attend the gym, undertake a job that requires repetitive or sustained postures, work from home, care for children or are retired will all benefit.

WHO DOES IT?

Our sports massage therapists in Sutton Coldfield are trained at degree level and work with a variety of clients offering massage, cupping and taping to help you look after your physical and mental health.  Our sports massage treatments are tailored to your needs.

WHAT TO EXPECT

There's always a warm welcome when you arrive for a sports massage in our Sutton Coldfield clinic.  We will ask you to fill in a consent form identifying what you hope to achieve from your sports massage so your therapist can target these concerns.  You will need to undress the area to be treated.  You can expect to leave feeling better than when you arrived.

3.

WHAT YOU NEED

To drink plenty of water before and after & avoid eating heavily beforehand.

Suitable clothing - shorts, loose t-shirt, sports bra.

4.

AFTER YOUR VISIT

You may feel a little tender if your body was particularly tight before your sports massage, some clients also feel tired.  Drink plenty of water and avoid heavy training for 12 hours.  Follow your therapists aftercare advice for the best outcomes.  We recommend regular sports massage as part of your own self care regime.  Our massage treatments are available 6 days a week throughout the day and evenings.
