WHAT IS  SPORTS MASSAGE?

The management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues.  An important part of self-care, injury prevention and performance enhancement for not only elite athletes, but also those who engage in regular amateur level sports, attend the gym or undertake a job that requires repetitive or sustained postures to be adopted.

WHO DOES IT?

Our sports massage therapists are trained at degree level and work with a variety of clients offering preventative treatments tp a[d recovery. We have male and female therapists.  Resolve's therapists will ensure that you receive an individually tailored, high quality massage.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A friendly welcome, a few forms to fill in, a competent, caring, approachable therapist.  To undress the area to be treated.  To leave better than when you came.

WHAT YOU NEED

To drink plenty of water & avoid eating heavily beforehand.  Suitable clothing - shorts, loose t-shirt, sports bra.

AFTER YOUR VISIT

You may feel a little sore and some clients feel tired.  Drink plenty of water and avoid heavy training for 12 hours.  Follow your therapists aftercare advice for the best outcomes.  We recommend regular massage as part of your own self care regime.
